Who's Behind This Site
I'm Rick Powell, a golfer from Berkley, Michigan who has been playing the game for 35 years. My handicap floats around a 13 or 14, which puts me squarely in the category of "serious recreational golfer" — good enough to care about the score, experienced enough to know that some days the ball just has other plans.
During the summer, you'll find me and my regular group out at Rouge Park Golf Course in Detroit every Thursday. That weekly game is the highlight of the week, and it's exactly the kind of regular play that makes tracking your game — your handicap, your trends, your best rounds — actually meaningful.
I've played courses all across Michigan, from the courses up in the northern Lower Peninsula to the tracks scattered around the metro Detroit area. Michigan has some genuinely great golf, and playing as many of those courses as I have gives you a real appreciation for the variety this state offers.

When I went looking for a simple golf tracking tool, everything I found was either too complicated, required a paid membership, or was tied to the USGA's official system — which is great, but overkill if you just want to know your index and track your progress over time.
So I built My Golf Trackers: a free, no-signup, no-membership set of tools for everyday golfers who want to keep score, calculate their handicap the right way (using the WHS formula), review their round history, and save their favorite courses — all without handing over their email address or credit card.
Everything runs in your browser and saves to your device. It's yours, it's private, and it's free. Just the way a round of golf with your buddies should be.
