Your Golf Data — Stored Locally, Never Uploaded
All golf data you enter into MyGolfTrackers.com — including scorecards, round history, handicap calculations, and saved course information — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This means:
- Your data is saved on your own device, in your browser
- It is never sent to any server, database, or third party
- We have no access to your scores, handicap, or any other data you enter
- If you clear your browser data, your golf data will be deleted — there is no cloud backup
- Your data is private to the device and browser you use
There are no user accounts, no login required, and no data transmitted off your device through the golf tracking features of this site.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized data about your visit, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- General geographic region (country/state level — not your exact location)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct link, etc.)
This data is aggregated and anonymized. It is used solely to understand which tools are most useful and how to improve the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through Google Analytics.
